Der Raspberry Pi, der kleine Computer aus Cambridge, wurde an diesem Wochenende fünf Jahre alt. Congrats, folks!
Zu diesem Anlass habe ich endlich meinen Pi0 aktiviert und spiele nun damit herum. Bislang mehr oder minder erfolgreich. Natürlich haben die genialen Menschen bei Raspberry Pi auch an ein Fortbildungskonzept für Lehrer*innen gedacht und ich habe mich gleich für die [Picademy](https://www.raspberrypi.org/picademy/) beworben. Falls es mit dem face-to-face-Training in London oder Cardiff nicht klappt, lerne ich eben online:- Teaching programming in primary school

Aber eigentlich möchte ich unbedingt zur Picademy, denn die Community ist ganz schön großartig.
Geplante Projekte:
- selbst die TechJam besuchen und eine kleine Raspberry Jam an der Schule veranstalten
- einen Girl's Day-Workshop für die Mädels aus der sechsten Klasse durchführen (mit Raspi und Microcontrollern) #girlsdaypower
- ein Dada-Literatur-Programm coden (Lyrikzufallsgenerator)
- eine RaspBeeCam für unsere Schulbienen bauen (siehe Plan Bee)
- ...
This is supposed to be my application for the ingenious Picademy.
I would very much like to book a flight to the UK and learn with a group of tech enthusiasts how to engage kids as well as fellow teachers in the mystery of code, computing, creative problem solving and - let's face it - inventing stuff.
I do love the free online ressources and courses I have listed above. I really do appreciate the Raspi community on Twitter and FutureLearn. Nevertheless I believe in hands-on experiences and an emotional approach to learning which can only profit from a happy bunch of people creating and coding away at the Picademy.

Creating new learning experiences and settings for children in primary school, sharing ideas with colleagues and my bubble, mastering programming skills and develop a deeper understanding for coding with kids,...
Programming always was and still is awe-inspiring to me. I would like to look into it nevertheless.
